Many companies advertise that they use a specific technology because it enables superior performance to any other. While this sounds nice, the reality is that similar technologies offer fairly equal performance overall. At Orcutt Labs we use a wide array of technologies that supports our core competencies and allows us to deploy effective solutions as quickly as possible. This allows us to focus on the business issues and not the technology. For those that are interested, we use:
Adobe products for image editing and desktop publishing (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, FrameMaker). We also use Microsoft products for networking and communications. Web services are typically J2EE/ColdFusion based.
Our Network:
Orcutt Labs uses Microsoft's Windows 2003 server family as a network infrastructure using Active Directory Services and certificate management for user and server authentication.

This Website was created in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional and uses Flash Remoting to make dynamic calls to J2EE Web services for remote business logic and data retrieval/storage.
